This section describes programs and initiatives undertaken by MFSA to advance a culture of open discourse and freedom of expression at MIT.
This section also discusses the recommendations that the faculty Ad Hoc Working Group have made to improve freedom of expression at MIT, the additional recommendations that MFSA is making, as well as the initiatives that MIT is actually undertaken to support open expression. This section suggests actions that MFSA recommends for individual members, including lobbying on specific issues, signing petitions, and communications in regional clubs.
